Huawei P Smart Z

Huawei presented the P Smart Z on 10 May 2019. It is available in black, blue, and green. A unique feature in this Android phone is the extendable front camera that Huawei is using for the first time. Because this camera is hidden in the device, the front of the phone consists only of a screen.

The display of this Huawei phone measures 6.59 inches. Thanks to the thin bezels, the device isn't excessively large. A dual camera is fitted on the back, and the P Smart Z features Android 9 Pie, 64GB of storage space, dual SIM, a fingerprint scanner, and a large 4000mAh battery.

Extendable front camera

The most striking and fun feature of this P Smart Z is the retractable front camera. As soon as you switch to the front camera in the camera app for a selfie, a camera slides out. This pop-up camera leaves more room for the screen.

Beautiful portrait pictures thanks to dual camera

The device comes with two cameras on the back. The 16-megapixel primary camera is supported by a 2-megapixel camera. This allows you to create a depth-of-field effect, which is also called bokeh effect. Your object or person in the picture remains sharp, while the background fades. This produces beautiful portrait pictures.

Large screen that's perfect for content and media

The Huawei P Smart Z has a 6.59-inch screen with thin bezels that's ideal for gaming or watching series. You won't be bothered by a notch for the front camera. The high screen resolution also produces very sharp images.

Fast fingerprint scanner

The fingerprint scanner is placed in the plastic casing on the back of this P Smart Z. This sensor allows you to unlock your smartphone in no time, so you can get straight to work. Your fingerprint is also safer than a PIN code.

Opt for extra storage space

Up to 64GB of storage space is available to store apps, pictures, and videos. The operating system also takes up a small part of this space. You can insert a memory card into the microSD slot to create more space. Please note that you won't be able to use dual SIM in that case.

Or use a second SIM card

You don't need a microSD card? Then you can insert a second SIM card instead. Dual SIM is ideal if, for example, you use two numbers to separate work and private life. You won't have to walk around with two different phones anymore. You will simply use one phone and two phone numbers.

Large 4000mAh battery

The Huawei P Smart Z has a battery with a capacity of 4000mAh. This is quite large, so the battery life of this device is great. You won't have to worry about an empty battery.

Android 9 Pie at release

When released in 2019, the Huawei P Smart Z will run on Android 9 Pie. Huawei has added their own skin to cover Android, EMUI 9.0. Thanks to intelligence features, the device will get to know your usage and make your daily tasks even easier.
